A new report from Niko Partners shows that six Asian emerging markets will generate more than 1 billion dollars (741.1 million Euro) in revenue for video game companies during 2015.

Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore represent some of the fastest growing markets for games in the world and the pace of advance might improve if the various governments reduce the restrictions that they place on the market.

Lisa Cosmas Hanson, who is the managing partner of Niko Partners, stated, “We critically analyzed the results of our data collection in these six markets and discovered that Indonesia is a compelling market because of the fascination with Facebook games, Vietnam is the biggest market in the region based on revenue, and Thailand has the highest average revenue per paid user.”

She added, “Beyond the known markets of China, Korea and Japan, in Asia these six Southeast Asian countries are bright rising stars.”
