From the apparently never-ending series of budget Android tablets, Ematic has today pulled the veil off its latest offering.

Meet the Ematic EGP008 HD Pro, a slate that won’t probably rock your world, but will prove to be a decent enough couch companion.

The tablet features an 8-inch XGA display featuring a resolution of 1024 x 768 and gets its life power from a 1.6GHz dual-core CPU with a quad-core GPU coupled with 1GB of RAM.

Ematic packs 16GB of internal storage plus two cameras, a 0.3 megapixel rear one and a 0.2 MP front one. It offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI out, USB 2.0 like any other mid-range respectable tablet. The tablet is available in black, red, blue and gray.

The slate ships with Android 4.1 out of the box and, as expected, is available for purchase at the very affordable price of $129.99 / €96. Grab yours from Walmart website or their stores.
