Over the weekend Emurasoft launched a new version for the professional edition of EmEditor. Changes available in this revision refer only to bug fixing and improvements, as no new features have been introduced.
Problems with opening files are recorded in a log file and the application will no longer crash and continue its activity. The developer restored the default commands associated with Ctrl+F and Ctrl+D keyboard shortcuts.
A bug that might have caused EmEditor to crash when saving or closing files with the Save Cursor Position and Bookmarks box checked, has been eliminated. Moreover, the program should no longer freeze when launching the Previous Bookmark in This Group command.
Also fixed is the problem where the bottom border line of the Close button on a tab was missing. You can check the full report on
