Singer Elton John decided to extend his Las Vegas show, "The Red Piano", at Caesars Palace through 2008. Elton had originally signed for 75 concerts over a three-year period, but, due to the public demands, the shows were accelerated and finished in 18 months.
"We are delighted with the runaway success of 'The Red Piano' and Elton's agreement to extend his association with Caesars," declared Mark Juliano, the Caesars Palace President on Wednesday.
The agreement calls for another 150 shows through 2008 at the 4,100-seat Colosseum theater. Last year, Elton John grossed over $40 millions with one of the priciest tickets around at an average of $158 each.
