There are a lot of things you don't know about Elton John. The controversial singer has some very unusual tastes when it comes to music. Sir Elton has admitted that he's considering making electronic music.

In an interview with Clash Magazine, the 66-year-old music maker has admitted that electronic music gets him working in the morning, “I adore electronic music. I get up in the morning and put on electronic music.”

And because it's all about making beautiful music, Elton John is already considering collaborating with some of the big names in the field, “I did a track with Timbaland. I hope to do something with Pharrell. I've done a track with Bright Light Bright Light, a guy called Rod Thomas, and it's brilliant. I like exploring other avenues.”

Though he's been a household name in the charts for more than 30 years, Sir Elton admits that he's still got much to learn in this new undertaking, but he's already taking notes and improving, “As a piano player I tend to overdo things, and electronic music is about simplicity. I would be tempted to do so much more, and [James Blake] has the ability to be so minimalistic and I love it. They're like paintings, not songs.”

The next musical album from Elton John is “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,” which is set to drop on March 24.
