14 DAY TRIAL // A little over a couple of weeks ago, Sir Elton John and partner of 17 years David Furnish announced they were the proud parents of a healthy baby boy who they named Zachary Jackson. They’re now introducing him to the world.
The happy couple and proud parents are featured in two of the biggest weeklies, Us Magazine and OK! Magazine, with proceeds from the sale of the pictures running in them going to their charities of choice.
Holding Zachary for the first time was such an emotional experience that it’s almost impossible to describe it in words, the veteran singer reveals for Us.
“I’ve never felt anything like it in my life. You’re so awestruck,” Elton John tells the magazine in an interview taken just days after his birth, in the couple’s Los Angeles home.
“What can you say? You take it in. The feeling, the joy, the warmth of his body, his breathing... I will never forget that experience ever,” the singer adds.
David also has only the most wonderful things to say about the baby boy, including how he’s very quiet and loves to be sung to and cradled.
“He’s a content little guy... He just loves to be nurtured, cuddled, and sung to,” David chimes in.
However happy they may be with their son, Elton and David are not saying no to further expanding their loving family. They also have their minds set on adopting, if possible.
“The couple of 17 years also discuss how they will never give up on Ukrainian orphan Lev, 2, and his HIV-positive brother Artyom, four,” Us Magazine writes.
Fans must know that the couple wanted to adopt Lev a while back but the request was denied because of their orientation.
