"Marion Bridge" star Ellen (Philpotts) Page has joined the X-Men 3 team. The 18-year old actress will play Kitty Pryde in Bratt Ratner's movie, which starts filming next week in Vancouver.

X-Men 3 and is set for a May 26, 2006 release.

The young actress, who loves downhill skiing, track and field, cycling, snowboarding, running and swimming, can next be seen in Lions Gate Films thriller Hard Candy.
