It’s official: break out the 3D glasses (most likely) and the handkerchiefs because Nemo and Dory are coming back. Above is a video of Ellen DeGeneres confirming the highly anticipated sequel to “Finding Nemo.”

The film will focus on Dory and, as speculated back in August last year, it will be called simply “Finding Dory,” since, obviously, it would have been rather redundant to have Nemo lost and found again.

Ellen explains that, because animated movies of this kind take a lot of time to complete, “Finding Dory” won’t be out until 2015 which, she says, is like 1.3 million minutes from now – or tomorrow, if you’re in Australia.

She also says that she’s read the script and it’s “fantastic, hilarious, warm, it’s everything that you wanted it to be.”

So, are you looking forward to the sequel? Let me know in the comments section below.
