14 DAY TRIAL // A woman from Elk Grove has uncovered something that she describes as “icky” in Capri Sun drinks, usually consumed by children.
She bought her boyfriend's young sister and brother the drink and she helped the little boy when nothing was pouring out of the container.
“It was like slimy and like whitish like pink. It was just like it was gross,” Ashley Hibbard says.
When she looked inside, she thought she saw a worm. However, manufacturers at Kraft Foods say that there is chance that mold has formed because of a problem with the pouch.
Sometimes the packaging gets punctured, but the company is working towards making the packaging thicker.
Meanwhile, Hibbard's photo of the slimy substance has gone viral on Facebook with over a quarter-million views, CBS Sacramento reports.
