Freddie the elk lives indoors, has no idea it should be living in the forest

After its mother abandoned it and its two brothers, Freddie the elk got rescued by an environmentalist presently working at a national park in eastern Europe.

Because Velga Vitola brought it home and raised it amongst common household pets such as dogs, the elk is now pretty much confused with respect to which species it is supposed to represent.

According to sources, Freddie is more than convinced that it is a dog, and does everything in its power to behave like one. Thus, it plays with the pooches that live with it in the same household, and enjoys car rides more than your run-off-the-mill young elk would.

Just for the record, this is not the first time when Velga Vitola takes to raising wild animals as pets: not long ago, two young bears shared a fate not very different to that of Freddie.
