Elizabeth "Lizzi" Marriott was a 19-year-old student at the University of New Hampshire, in Durham. Lizzi went missing 6 days ago, and is believed to be dead.

Former workmate Seth Mazzaglia, 29, of Dover, was charged on Saturday with second-degree murder, ABC News reports. Mazzaglia's arraignment is scheduled for today, and the search for Marriott's body has been called off.

So far, the girl's 2001 Mazda Tribute was found in the UNH parking lot, but no sign of the girl. Marriott was a marine biology major. She had been living with an aunt in Chester, N.H., and commuting to college every day, NBC News informs.

Officials have concentrated their search for the missing girl's body on Peirce Island. The island is located 100 feet off the coast of Portsmouth. It connects to the mainland by road. It is 27 acres in size, according to the CityofPortsmouth website, and holds salt marshes, tidal pools, and rocky cliffs.

The island was searched by investigators on Friday night. Local volunteers put up flyers with her photograph and offered a $10,000 reward for anyone that could offer information regarding to the girl's disappearance. Lizzi's home and computer were also searched.

Marriott's aunt, Rebecca Tyning, explained the suspect met Lizzi at a Target store in Greenland, N.H, where they worked together.

19-year-old Marriott went missing on Tuesday. She was last seen 6 days ago, and had texted a friend to arrange a meeting on Tuesday night, at 10 p.m., but never arrived to keep her appointment. The following days, she was not seen at her workplace at a Target store, which raised alarms.

Seth Mazzaglia describes himself as an aspiring actor. He is a Martial Arts expert, as he describes himself on exploretalent.com:

"I have some experience writing and directing as well. […] In my spare time enjoy teaching Martial Arts and practicing Ballroom Dance," he says.
