Elizabeth Olsen’s involvement in the second “Avengers” installment, “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” which is coming out in 2015, was kept a secret until the last moment, when Marvel had no other choice but to confirm she was playing Scarlet Witch.

It looks like, at least for the time being, that’s the extent of all the details we’ll get about her character because Elizabeth is determined to keep everything a secret, at the studio’s request.

As you probably know if you’ve seen “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and waited until the end of the credits for the Easter egg, “Ultron” will see the introduction of two new superheroes from the comics, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson).

Flaunt magazine asked Elizabeth to speak a bit about her character as part of an interview for “Godzilla” in which she also stars (and so does Taylor-Johnson), but she would not budge.

“I don't think I'm allowed to say anything! And I'm too terrified,” she laughs. “I really just feel like I’m doing something that’s top secret and somehow has a lot more importance than anything else I’ve been around, so that alone is hilarious.”

She compares shooting for “Godzilla” to working on “Avengers,” saying it was understandably much easier because there was no hype around the monster reboot. Speaking of which, “Godzilla” will be out in theaters on May 16, 2014.
