The media had a field day when an audio recording emerged yesterday in which actor Tom Sizemore gave out incredible details about an alleged secret relationship between British actress Elizabeth Hurley and the former president of the United States, Bill Clinton.

Now that the shock factor has subsided a little, the first reactions from the parties involved are beginning to emerge. The first was Elizabeth Hurley who slammed all rumors by saying on her Twitter account that the allegations were “ludicrously silly stories.”

She also said that she was going to put the entire matter “in the hands of [her] lawyers,” which indicated that she was not willing to let the matter stand and fight it out in the courts.

The recording of drug-troubled Tom Sizemore reveals that Hurley and Clinton met at the president's insistence, after he facilitated their meeting by giving him her number and making the introductions.

He went on to recount incredible stories of a secret love affair that went on for over a year, right within the walls of the White House, with Clinton's wife in the next room. Sizemore's story seemed to have a lot of spicy details which gave it further credibility.

Probably fearing legal retribution, Tom Sizemore has since appeared on TV and made it clear that the recording was made at the height of his drug addiction and is entirely made up. He did not deny that it was his voice on the recording or that he actually said all those things.

In an interview he gave to Huffington Post, Sizemore called the recording “the rantings of a guy that it has been well-chronicled had a very severe problem.” The 52-year-old actor has denied ever meeting former president Clinton, let alone giving him the number of his ex-girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley.

Sizemore's long battles with drugs have been well documented and he's even served some time in jail for possession of some hard illicit substances such as crystal meth.
