Keep an eye on Elizabeth Berkley on this season of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars because she’s slowly emerging as the most likely to win. On the latest show, she and partner Val were the first to score a perfect 30.

They did it with a super fiery and well executed Cha Cha Cha, which you can also see in the video above. Because there’s some problem with the audio during the dance, the second video below should come in handy, but it doesn’t include the rehearsals footage.

It was during rehearsals that Elizabeth finally opened up about what “Showgirls” did to her career and how the backlash made her put on hold whatever dreams she had of becoming a dancer, while also slamming doors in her face as an actress.

She got teary-eyed as she spoke about how difficult it was for her to always pretend that she was ok, that she didn’t mind what people were saying about the movie, considered to this day one of the worst ever made.

She called it a “creative, artistic challenge” and, truth be told, not few are those who agree with her. Critics might have hated “Showgirls,” but there are millions of fans who consider it iconic, albeit cheesy.

Back to DWTS, it’s safe to say that Elizabeth finally showed her critics what a winner she is. Amazing dance, it absolutely deserved all 3 perfect scores it got. Enjoy!
