14 DAY TRIAL // Officially, Elisabeth Hasselbeck is nowhere close to leaving ABC’s The View. Unofficially, she’s pretty much with one foot out the door because bosses, with Barbara Walters included, think a change in the lineup would do ratings good.
However, it’s not like Elisabeth will be having time to mope around, according to a still unconfirmed report in Page Six: she’s already being “wooed” by several other networks, with CNN looking as favorite to even get her.
“Amid all the buzz over her impending departure from The View, Elisabeth Hasselbeck is already being courted by other networks. We hear CNN honcho Jeff Zucker is interested in seeing her join his cable channel,” the e-zine reports.
An inside source confirms that “They’re definitely interested,” but wouldn’t offer more details – as in, whether Elisabeth is also interested in whatever offer CNN has to make.
