As announced in July this year, Elisabeth Hasselbeck would be moving to Fox, the Fox & Friends morning show, in September. The network has announced that the premiere date is set for the 16th of the month.

“Elisabeth Hasselbeck will make her debut as co-host of the Fox News Channel’s top-rated Fox & Friends morning show on Monday, Sept. 16, Bill Shine, Executive Vice President of Programming for FOX News, announced on Thursday,” the sister website reports.

Hasselbeck spent many years on The View but, this year, rumors started to really pick up that she was one foot through the door. Presumably, her political beliefs made her fall out with Barbara Walters.

According to Fox, in her new capacity as co-anchor of the morning show, she “will interview key newsmakers, celebrities and politicians” with Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade.

The day she comes on board the show coincides with the day when a new set design will be unveiled.
