Elijah Wood is tired of being called "Frodo" everywhere he goes and tried to pick up parts that could change his LOTR image.

The 24-year-old actor, who can be seen in "Sin City", has landed the role of a young Iggy Pop in a new movie but he's terrified about portraying the outrageous punk icon.

Elijah Wood, who has also signed up to voice Mumble in the new animated movie "Happy Feet", will start shooting the top-secret film in 2006. The actor admits he's getting more nervous as the start date approaches.

"I'm scared to death of doing it, because I love him (Iggy Pop) so much and I respect the music so much. I don't want to be the person responsible for screwing that up", said Wood.
