Actor Elijah Wood, aka Frodo Baggins from "The Lord of The Rings" trilogy, is reportedly in love with Pam Racine.
Elijah, 24, currently filming for "Everything Is Illuminated", became friend with his musician co-star Wood and Gogol Bordello star Eugene Hutz. When this new friend found out Wood is looking for love, he introduced him to Pam Racine, one of his bandmates.
According to rumors, since they met, Elijah and Pam are inseparable. A pal tells America's In Touch magazine: "Eugene introduced them and they secretly started dating and now they seem to be inseparable."
"Everything Is Illuminated" marks the directing debut of actor Liev Schreiber, who has adapted the screenplay from the novel by Jonathan Safran Foer.
Wood plays Jonathan, a stoic, reserved man stiffly dressed in the same black suit and thick-rimmed glasses each day, whose compulsive personality prompts him to collect photos, trinkets, even parts of a potato, sealing the items in sandwich bags as physical manifestations of his life.
Making his film debut with a minor part in "Back to the Future II" in 1989, Wood, born January 28, 1981, landed a succession of subsequent larger roles and became a critically acclaimed child actor.
His performance in "The War" gained him a nomination at the YoungStar Awards (for which he was nominated five times and won once), and Roger Ebert said in his review of the film that "Elijah Wood has emerged, I believe, as the most talented actor in his age group in Hollywood history."
His role as Frodo in "The Lord of the Rings" made him a star, but he has thus far resisted typecasting by recently choosing less sympathetic roles, such as a stalker in "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and a psychopath cannibal serial killer in "Sin City".
Wood has recently won the role of a young Iggy Pop in a yet-to-be-filmed biographical account of the rock-star.
