Eli Roth, best known for being the man behind horror flick “Hostel,” is also Brad Pitt’s co-star in Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglourious Basterds.” Getting to share the same movie set with the actor who is still considered the symbol of an entire generation of stars was no small thing, Roth reveals to People magazine, especially since he also got tipped on how to keep fresh when there was no shower close by.

Brad Pitt is, as fans and not only must know, the father of six children. As such, he must be insanely busy all the time, which can also mean he might not always have the time for a shower: this is why he uses baby wipes, a piece of advice he also offered to Roth as they were preparing to shoot a scene together. With the risk of sounding like a cheap ad for one such product, Eli tells the mag never in his life had he been offered a better piece of advice than the one he got from Brad.

“He shared that when you’re sweating and don’t have time to take a shower, you just take a baby wipe and rub it under your armpits. After a scene, Brad had to get next to me for a close-up shot, and he said, ‘Damn, you’re ripe.’ I said, ‘I didn’t have time to shower.’ He said, ‘Baby wipes, man, baby wipes. I got six kids. All you’ve got to do is just take them, a couple quick wipes under the pits. Man, I’m getting [urinated] on all day. I don’t have time to take a shower’.” Roth explains for the mag, adding “I thought that was the greatest tip.”

In the same interview, which is undoubtedly meant to bring the upcoming Nazi film to the attention of the general public who might have not heard the awesome reception it got at the Cannes Film Festival, Eli Roth also talks about meeting Angelina Jolie and what makes Brad such a special man. According to the actor, director and producer, there is no cooler woman than Angie, and she and Brad completely deserve each other since he personally has never met a nicer man than Pitt, who is also an inspiring actor to get to work with.

“He’s such a funny guy. He has a great sense of humor, and he’s so into it. He’s really there to have a great time. Now, he’s at the point in his career where he’s the biggest movie star in the world, he can do whatever he wants, so when he’s there, he just wants to have a great time. I remember the first day, he taught me a lot of acting tricks. We all wanted to ask him about ‘Kalifornia,’ ‘Fight Club’ and ‘True Romance,’ and he was so cool to talk about all that stuff with us. Right from the first day, we were all a little shy. But then somebody asked him about ‘12 Monkeys,’ and he talked about everything.” Roth says in the same interview.

“Inglourious Basterds” is scheduled to hit US theaters this August. Until then, director Tarantino is said to be back in the editing room, smoothing out some of the details that did not sit well with the critics at the Cannes premiere.
