Video game developer Stardock has launched the 1.02 patch for its strategy game Elemental: Fallen Enchantress, designed to fix some game bugs but also improve the overall balance of the game and make the Artificial Intelligence perform better.

The developers are mainly concerned with increasing performance for the game, especially in the late game, and the new patch includes improvements in this regard, most of them linked to memory optimization.

There are also improvements made to the custom unit design system, which now sees custom unit and building colors retained after games.

The rulers that players have created for factions are also designed to get random traits when the A.I. chooses them for enemy factions.

Fallen Enchantress is a mix between strategy and role playing that allows gamers full control over city buildings, tactical battles, research and magic.
