Although PSP sales haven't been as amazing as the producers expected, the interest for this new console is pretty high, both from the players and the game makers.
After Playboy announced content for PSP, it seems that Electronic Arts doesn't want to miss the opportunity, so it announced the launching of PSP versions for its franchises: FIFA and NBA Street.
EA Canada will be in charge of the developing of the PSP versions, this division being also responsible for the console versions of the two titles.
FIFA Socces and NBA Street Showdown, although inspired from the console titles, are specially designed for PSP and besides single player, the games will also include multiplayer modes specific to PSP, like turn-based Party Play or wireless multiplayer.
NBA Street Showdown proposes PSP the same teams of three versus three, but also two new modes: arcade shootout and shot blocker.
FIFA Soccer includes over 350 teams from all around the world; the single player mode won't be very different from the console versions one, the players being able to choose season, tournament, or challenge.
And since PSP proved to be a polyvalent equipment, EA hasn't forgotten its multimedia capabilities, and is offering users to listen to the soundtracks of the two titles, using the included player: EA POCKET TRAX.
Considering that Electronic Arts is not the only company owning sport titles, we can only expect other game studios doing the same.
