Video game publisher Electronic Arts has announced yet another pretty significant sale which seems designed to stock up gamer interest for the Origin digital distribution solution that it launched earlier during the year.

Those who register on Origin before January 16 can take part in the Stock Up and Save promotion, which means that they get 10 percent off for any game on Origin, 20% for those games, 30 percent for 3 of them and a maximum of 40% for more.

Also those who make one purchase before January 23 will get a voucher which gets them 20 dollars (14.3 Euro) of their next purchase, as long as the game costs 49.99 dollars or more.

Origin is the service which EA hopes will be able to provide a challenge to the Valve created Steam but after gaining a number of initial accounts with the launch of Battlefield 3 the service has failed to gain much traction with gamers.
