There is a new mouse up for sale in Japan, one that Elecom created for office workers that want a long-lasting item which won't clutter the place with cables.

Named M-IR03DR, it boasts support for Wi-Fi via the 2.4 GHz band.

This means that it needs a battery to operate, but prospective buyers needn't worry about having to replace it too often.

According to the company's announcement, the mouse should be able to stretch a charge across 3.5 years of typical office work.

That said, the peripheral is colored silver, black or white and is designed for right-handed people, with five buttons, two of which are on the side (go back and forward in web browsers).

Finally, there should be little to no interference with other wireless devices from this 5,145 JPY product ($64.5 / 48.81 Euro).
