An elderly woman who was trying to exit a multi-story car park in Erfurt, central Germany, damaged no less than 11 vehicles in the process, it has been revealed.

According to The Local, the incident happened on Thursday afternoon, when an unidentified 86-year-old woman tried to drive out of the car park, but all she managed to do was cause havoc.

The woman, who was reportedly accompanied by her husband, first crashed into two vehicles parked behind her while she was reversing out of her parking spot. She panicked, put her car in forward gear and accelerated, causing her to hit other two vehicles, an Audi and a Mercedes.

In a desperate attempt to get out of the ridiculous situation, the driver put her car back into reverse and this time drove into a concrete pillar and another Mercedes.

The consecutive crashes didn't deter her though, as she seemed determined to get out of the car park. But on her way out, she somehow managed to hit a bin, swipe a wall and scratch several other cars.

Authorities estimate that the woman caused between €50,000 and €70,000 (€36,300 – €50,900) worth of damage. The vehicles were so badly damaged that they had to be pushed out by hand.

Unsurprisingly, police has confiscated the woman's driving license.
