The team at ZeniMax Online working on The Elder Scrolls Online says that it is currently working to make sure that a constant stream of content will be added to the MMO after it is launched in order to keep players interested in the game.

Speaking to ShackNews, Paul Sage, a creative director working on the game, says, “We always want to make sure there is something new right around the corner. Our plan is to have new content coming out on a really frequent basis. We want to make sure that people are really into the game and get to experience a lot of new things.”

The fact that DLC will arrive soon after The Elder Scrolls Online is launched does not mean that players will not have plenty to do in the core game.

He adds, “We will have a lot of content at release, but I know that players are amazing in their ability to chew through content quickly, so we want to make sure there is a constant stream of goodies coming to them.”

Engagement is the key word for the development team and trust can only be obtained and maintained as long as ZeniMax Online can keep both frequency of updates and their quality high.

The new MMO will allow players to choose a race and faction in the sprawling Elder Scrolls universe and then battle the undead armies that threaten the entire continent of Tamriel while also engaging in big Player vs. Player events against other alliances.

The team is promising a deep game that is dynamic when it comes to combat and which allows players to make significant choices that affect the game world.

The Elder Scrolls Online will be out on the PC, the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PlayStation 4 from Sony in early 2014.
