Gamers can get more lore information linked to the MMO

The development team at ZeniMax Online and the team handling The Elder Scrolls Online at Bethesda announce that they are collaborating with Dark Horse Comics to create a new Hero’s Guide which will accompany the launch of the MMO.

The new package is only offered on the official store of the game creator and will be only printed in a limited 10,000 units run, which means that fans should move as fast as they can to secure one of the they are interested in the lore of the Elder Scrolls universe.

The Hero’s Guide will introduce 272 pages filled with both original writing and illustrations, with three books all bound by a clamshell that also includes a miniature lithograph.

The writer who has worked on the content is David S. J. Hodgson and the art was created by a team made up of Brynn Metheney, Roberto Gomes, David Keen and Caio Cacau.

The three books included in the Hero’s Guide are:

Kyne’s Challenge - A Hunter’s Companion Hardcover bestiary bound in faux-leather, with full emboss/deboss and spot foil on cover and spine; it will offer 168 gold gilded pages with a ribbon marker and 156 original illustrations. Gathering Force - Arms and Armor of Tamriel featuring a rounded spine, embossed cover, and silver foil on front and back cover; includes 56 deckled pages with a ribbon marker and 96 original illustrations. Agents and Reagents - The Bounty of Mundus Envelope, a wrapped alchemical notebook with cord closure and embossed cover; offers 48 deckled pages with 47 original illustrations.

The cost for the Elder Scrolls Online Hero’s Guide is 100 dollars or Euro and the company estimates that those who place orders will get it on April 14.

The Elder Scrolls Online MMO will be delivered on the PC on April 4, allowing gamers to experience a story set 1,000 years before the events of the single player series.

The title will also be delivered on the PlayStation 4 from Sony and the Xbox One from Microsoft at the beginning of summer.

ZeniMax Online says that it plans to deliver a new type of MMO, which includes action driven combat and massive battles involving the three main factions but gamers will also have plenty of options for solo play.

The Elder Scrolls Online asks players to pay a monthly subscription.
