Video game developer ZeniMax Online and publisher Bethesda are announcing that they are deploying the 1.3.3 patch for The Elder Scrolls Online, a major update for the title which is set to improve a range of features and eliminate some bugs that the community has been reporting since launch.

The official announcement states, "In this update, we’ve added armor dye stations where you can change the color of your armor with dyes you unlock through achievements. We’ve also added and improved many guild features including the addition of guild heraldry, guild traders, and improved guild management."

The Alliance campaign in Cyrodiil has also been updated and there are new options, all of them complete with their own rule set.

ZeniMax Online adds, "Alongside these new features, you’ll find many fixes to quests, combat, art, and audio. We’re also continuing to work on the overall class balance, but are doing so carefully so as not to impact your build too much."

A full list of all the changes, and there are quite a few of them, can be seen on the official site of The Elder Scrolls Online.

The Guilds included in the MMO have also received a large set of new features, designed to make them more attractive to gamers who are looking for groups with which to explore the complex game world and tackle the toughest of challenges.

A new difficulty mode has been added for the final fight in the Aetherian Archive and the Hel Ra Citadel in order to give players a tougher sequence to go through, which can deliver an upgraded version of a piece of armor associated with the Mage, Warrior or Serpent sets.

The graphics of The Elder Scrolls Online are also adjusted in patch 1.3.3 to give players a better overall experience.

ZeniMax Online also says that it awaits players' feedback and that it will use it in order to start working on future updates and new content for the MMO.

The Elder Scrolls Online is set to get versions for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 before the end of the year, but gamers should not expect to see cross-platform play.

The MMO is one of the few that still uses a monthly subscription business model, and the launch of both updates and new content is designed to keep gamers interested in the experience so that the title maintains a solid long-term player base.
