The help portal for the game is also down, developers are investigating

The Elder Scrolls Online is at the moment undergoing maintenance on both its North American and its European megaservers as the development team art ZeniMax Online is delivering a new patch for the MMO and is updating the core mechanics.

The official site of the game states that:

“The European megaserver will be brought down at 5:00 AM BST / 6:00 AM CEST. At this time, we expect the European megaserver to be back online by late morning.

The North American megaserver will be brought down at 8:00 AM EDT / 1:00 PM BST. At this time, we expect the North American megaserver to be back online by midday.”

ZeniMax Online says that it plans to offer full patch notes for the update that is being added to The Elder Scrolls Online after the maintenance period is complete.

Apparently, the team has taken into account all feedback coming from players in order to significantly improve the MMO experience.

The studio also says that the help portal associated with the game is at the moment down, due to an unknown issues that is currently being investigated.

The Elder Scrolls Online was launched on the PC on April 4 and will also come to the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 in early summer.

UPDATE: The help portal is back online, mainteance is continuing.
