The development team at ZeniMax Online and publisher Bethesda have taken down the North American server of their The Elder Scrolls Online at the moment for a maintenance period and the two companies might be getting ready to introduce the new Draglorn area.

The two companies are not saying exactly when the infrastructure of the title will be back up, but gamers should expect to be unable to access the MMO for at least 3 hours and the European megaserver will then also be taken down for maintenance.

The Craglorn zone has been teased since the game was launched and it is designed to offer a solid challenge even for those players who have reached the level cap.

The Elder Scrolls Online is supposed to get access to a constant stream of new content from ZeniMax Online and the team explains that the level of quality will be high in order to satisfy those who are ready to pay a monthly subscription for the MMO experience.

The studio has already explained that it is working on a second content update, which will introduce a zone called the Crypt of Hearts, which might be launched in about six weeks.

The Elder Scrolls Online will also be offered on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 in early 2015.
