Microsoft is now announcing that it plans to release no less than eight different hardware bundles which feature the Xbox 360 for the European market as this Christmas period rolls around. Only three of them are also available for the United States market.

Starting today, gamers will be able to get their hands on three bundles: an Xbox 360 Arcade accompanied by Sega Superstars Tennis and another disk featuring a compilation of Xbox Live Arcade games; an Xbox 360 Pro bundled with LEGO Indiana Jones and Kung Fu Panda.

On October 20, another bundle will arrive, packing together Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 and an Xbox 360 Pro; on November 7, Microsoft will begin offering a bundle packing together an Xbox 360 Pro, the upcoming Gears of War 2 from Epic and another one which packs the gaming console with James Bond: Quantum of Solace from Treyarch, a title which uses the Call of Duty engine.

On November 12, an Xbox 360 Pro will be offered together with Tomb Raider: Underworld and an additional 1200 Microsoft Points, which gamers will need in order to get the DLC which will arrive for the game.

At last, on December 12, you will be able to get an Xbox 360 bundled with Prince of Persia: The Fallen King from Ubisoft. It’s now unknown whether the last five mentioned bundles will also be made available in North America.

The Gears of War and the Tomb Raider packages are really high value and will certainly attract a lot of buyers, which means that Microsoft will probably have a very successful Christmas season in Europe, as Sony has announced that the PlayStation 3 is not set to get any bundled offer in the following months.
