Eidos Interactive is pleased to announce the new title STACKED with Daniel Negreanu, which will be released in autumn 2006 on PlayStation 2, PC and PSP. The most advanced poker simulation ever created, STACKED boasts an exclusive learning AI solution, involvement from seven of poker's most successful players as well as support for massive sanctioned online tournaments. Daniel Negreanu (2004 ESPN Player of the Year, World Poker Tour Player of the Year, Card Player Magazine Player of the Year and World Series of Poker Player of the Year) will be on hand throughout the game to offer advice. Also, learn how to play Texas Hold 'Em as Negreanu takes you to Poker School, with over 45 minutes of in-game video tutorials covering everything from basic Hold 'Em techniques to advanced pro-tournament strategies. STACKED utilizes an advanced learning artificial intelligence system that devises new strategies for victory as it learns more about each player's individual style of play. As the player progresses through the game, the AI will become more sophisticated as it builds a profile of weaknesses and attempts to exploit them, helping the player to learn and become a better overall player. "STACKED is the definitive Poker game. Use it to set up a game with up to nine friends, to hone your poker skills and tactics or simply use it to learn the game that is played by over 100 million people worldwide," said Ray Livingston, Brand Manager. The PS2 version of STACKED will feature interoperability with the PSP system, allowing players to continue their career mode progress at home or on the go and compete online with players on either platform.
