The official website of Egypt’s General Authority for Supply Commodities (gasc.gov.eg) has been defaced by Pakistani hacker P@KhTuN~72, a member of the Pak Cyber Eaglez collective.

In addition, the hacker has breached the site of the El Maref Higher Institute for Languages and Translation (elmaref.edu.eg), and around 180 Egyptian commercial websites, The Hackers Media reports.

On the defaced pages, the hacker published a message praising the Pakistani people. He also urged the affected websites’ administrators to patch them up. There doesn’t appear to be any political motivation behind the attacks.

At the time of writing, all the sites were restored.

This is not the first time when Pak Cyber Eaglez members hack government sites. Back in February, they breached and defaced the official website of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Ministry of Internal Affairs (mupusk.gov.ba).
