For those who just can't get a tarantula, this is the next best thing

Spiders have always been considered one of the scariest things in the world, if only because they are the ones that most often send children and even grownups screaming.

Truth be told, some spiders are actually very dangerous, like tarantulas, which, though usually docile, are all very poisonous, some even fatally so.

So the folks at Robutix decided on a way to completely remove the danger while keeping the creepiness in place.

Long story short, they made the Robugtix T8 robot spider.

Presented in the video above, it relies on 26 servo motors and a Bigfoot Inverse Kinematics engine.

It actually moves quite realistically, although it definitely packs a financial punch: $1,500 / €1,170 – 1,500.
