Edubuntu 12.04 LTS Screenshot Tour

Canonical announced yesterday, April 26th, that the highly anticipated Precise Pangolin upgrade of its popular Ubuntu operating system, including the Kubuntu 12.04, Xubuntu 12.04, Lubuntu 12.04 flavors and Edubuntu 12.04 LTS, is available for download.

Edubuntu 12.04 is an LTS (Long Term Support) release, which means it will be supported for five years.

Dubbed Precise Pangolin, Edubuntu 12.04 LTS is powered by Linux kernel 3.2 and it is distributed as Live DVD ISO images for both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures.

The educational edition of Ubuntu 12.04 comes with iTalc, LTSP 5.3.x, fully translatable installation, support for Wubi, Vim and Pastebinit installed by default.
