HairerSoft is a software company based in the United Kingdom that has been making applications for the Macintosh platform since 1995, known for its Amadeus sound editor. After years of development, Amadeus evolved into Amadeus Pro, and the first version of this program was released to the public three days ago.

We shall find out more about Amadeus Pro in an instant, but I know one thing for sure about the guys at HairerSoft - they can't be superstitious, since Amadeus Pro was launched exactly on the 13th of January! OK, good, but where are those details?

Amadeus Pro is a multitrack audio editor that supports a wide range of audio formats, including AAC, OGG, MP3, Apple Lossless, WAV, AIFF and others. It has full support for multitrack WAVE files, allowing you to render sound on up to 5 different loudspeakers simultaneously, while each track's volume can be adjusted independently from the others.

No matter if you're an enthusiast editing ringtones for your friends or a sound engineer, the batch processing capability is always something good to have, and Amadeus Pro's powerful batch processor allows you not only to convert large numbers of files, but also to apply various sequences of sound effects.

The Repair centre tool can help you find and repair cracks with a simple mouse click, while the powerful denoising functions available here let you remove the annoying hiss or hum without giving you a headache.

Version 1.0 of this program requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later to run and is available as a Universal Binary application. A fully functional 30 days demo is available for download, and the registration price is 40$.
