The developers that have worked on the recently launched Test Drive Unlimited 2 have admitted that their release has a number of problems that they plan to address in the long term and asked for patience on the part of the fans who are eagerly asking for more stability, better multiplayer performance and improved physics for the cars.

To get a better understanding of the good and bad parts of the game, take a look at the Softpedia review for Test Drive Unlimited 2.

The statement from the developer at Eden Games have said, “Thank you for your continued support and feedback. Our community has been amazing and helped us quickly identify a number of issues, which we have made significant progress in addressing in the upcoming patches.”

The developers are also saying that the first premium downloadable content pack for the open-world racing game will be free for all those who have bought the game at launch and have stuck with it through the hard post launch period.

The Exploration pack is set to include access to cars like the 1969 Dodge Charger and the Rallye version of the Lancioa Stratos.

The team at Eden Games has also talked about the fixes introduced on the PC version of Test Drive Unlimited 2, including bringing racing clubs back online, improving the way friends lists are working and eliminating the corruption that affected save games and eliminated a session's worth of gaming.

The patch has also been sent for certification to both Microsoft and Sony so that it can be deployed as soon as possible on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.

The developer also says, “The team spends a great deal of time looking at community feedback, so please keep posting your comments to the official TDU2 forums and we look forward to seeing you in Ibiza.”
