14 DAY TRIAL // LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian met and fell in love on the set of a TV movie, when they were still married to other people, on whom they cheated to be together. They eventually wed but, less than 3 years into the marriage, Eddie is realizing it was “the worst mistake he’s ever made.”
Star magazine is running with an explosive story in this week’s print issue (story via CB), alleging that Eddie has grown so tired of LeAnn’s crazy antics that he’s already made up his mind to divorce her the second they’re done shooting for their new reality series.
Admittedly, LeAnn is a “total psycho” and it’s driving him mad. She constantly checks up on him, accuses him of cheating on her, and mocks and provokes his ex-wife Brandi Glanville, the mother of his two sons.
“Eddie can’t take it anymore. He’s at the end of his rope. Being married to LeAnn is the worst mistake he’s ever made and this past year in particular has been a nightmare. He wants out,” a spy says.
“LeAnn had been increasingly bossy on the set of the reality series, pushing Eddie to the edge… She yells at him and makes him do take after take, then he reminds her that he’s the actor, not her. It’s just so embarrassing,” adds the insider.
As if her “psycho behavior” weren’t enough to drive Eddie up the wall, LeAnn has also been drinking a lot in recent months, which fuels her aggressiveness and makes her even nastier to be around. She starts guzzling down booze “early in the day” and doesn’t stop until she goes to bed, the tab alleges, based on the insider’s report.
“That often leads to fights between them in the middle of the night, when she accuses him of being unfaithful and disloyal while Eddie tries desperately to calm her down and make her see reason… On more than one occasion, LeAnn has even locked herself in the closet after drinking, telling Eddie that she wants to be left alone,” the tipster shares.
So Eddie wants a divorce and he’s certain there’s no going back now. If she won’t give him a divorce, he has a mind to go after her money because, as the insider puts it, after the hell she’s put him through, he’s more than entitled to a large chunk of it.
