The manager also wished the mom good luck, on her family's receipt

A friendly manager at a diner made a future mom's day by giving her and her family a discount for their meal.

The restaurant manager put down a personalized inspirational message in the promotional box on the receipt:

“MOM 2 BEE GOOD LUC,” he wrote.

The Consumerist tells us that this occurred at a Red Robin location in North Carolina. The woman was already overdue, and went for a bite to eat with her husband and 2-year-old son.

“Once seated, a manager came up to us and started talking. [...] He was extremely friendly and jokingly asked my wife if this was her last meal before heading to the hospital,” husband Jason describes.

It's nice to know random acts like this can actually improve a person's mood. Last month, I was shocked to find that clients had been referred to as “fat girls” on their check, at a restaurant.
