Says that they were not implemented because of quality concerns

The developers at Eat Sleep Play have revealed that their original design for the rebooted Twisted Metal have three different endings, linked to the difficulty level that the player chose when he started a game, with each of them set to offer more details on the universe of the title and the fates of core characters, including Calypso, Dollface and Preacher.

Speaking on his personal blog, the leader of Eat Sleep Play, David Jaffe, said that the team decided to take out the different endings because they were unable to make them all fun and cheesy and because players would lack the motivation to get through the game three times, given how easy it is to log into YouTube and simple watch them.

The video shows some ideas that the development team had linked to the alternate endings and offers some commentary from Jaffe himself.

Twisted Metal has not been as successful as Sony planned and a sequel is unlikely.
