EasyVista Inc., a member of the Staff&Line Group, has launched an updated version of its flagship product, EasyVista 2010, in tandem with a new iPhone application that allows Service Desk Managers to control the Service Desk in real-time from their hand-held device.

According to the company, the newly announced version of its enterprise ITSM software features a range of new and advanced capabilities that enable consistent ITIL implementation, while improving efficiencies and speed implementation and the decision-making process.

In addition to announcing EasyVista 2010, the company proudly introduced a free iPhone application today.

Called EasyVista iPhone and supporting all iDevices running iOS 3.1.3 or later, the app allows Service Desk Managers to control the Service Desk in real-time from their mobile device, according to its makers.

“The key functions of the EasyVista iPhone application include real-time monitoring of incidents and change requests being processed; live status of incidents and change requests, per item; and the contact details of the requestor,” the company said, in a report.

“Organizations are facing many challenges when trying to customize and integrate traditional legacy solutions to meet their dynamic business process needs and are looking for solutions with enhanced ITSM and ITAM capabilities,” said Gregory Lefort, vice president of Business Development and Corporate Marketing at EasyVista Inc.

“We are therefore constantly looking for innovative ways to improve our solution, and to demonstrate that the future of ITSM is codeless,” Lefort added.

The VP concluded by saying that “EasyVista 2010 and the new iPhone application are a result of this commitment to excellence and our commitment to leading the codeless revolution.”
