David King has announced that version 2.1.10 of everyone’s favorite open source tag editor for MP3 and Ogg Vorbis files, EasyTAG, is now available for download.

This release mainly fixes various nasty memory crashes and leaks that were discovered with the Fedora retrace server, Valgrind, and Coverity. In addition, it fixes a scanner memory leak, adds AppData XML, removes the Quit button from the toolbar, and re-implements ID3 tag support on Windows operating systems.

EasyTAG 2.1.10 also injects a Contents item into the Help menu, allowing users to view the Mallard help, ports GFileInfo, fixes dummy browser row issues, uses g_spawn_async() to spawn child processes, and updates the Lithuanian, Brazilian Portuguese, Serbian, Czech, Polish, and German translations.
