Americans still love Jen's hairstyle and hair color

A recent nationwide poll revealed what many of us already suspected: namely, that the Jennifer Aniston hair hysteria is far from dying down - on the contrary. It has in fact emerged that America's favorite "Friend" still has the most sought-after hair color, with thousands of women still heading to their hair salons, her picture in hand, demanding the same honey highlights and Jen's natural, sun-kissed, California chic hairstyle. If you find the popular actress' 'do appealing and you are thinking about giving it a shot, here are a few things you should know and consider.

First of all, the color. Jennifer had brunette hair, brightened up by golden highlights and beach-blond streaks that frame her hair and give her that radiant, just-off-the-beach look. If your natural hair color is anywhere between dark blond and medium brown, then you have the perfect base - and all you need are a few highlights. If you have darker hair, however, you will have to take an extra step before adding the highlights: first, lighten the base to a soft, golden brown, then go for the highlights.

As far as styling goes, the good news is that it doesn't take a huge amount of time or effort. You will need two things, though - a blow drier with a diffuser and a styling iron to best define those free-flowing curls. If your hair is naturally straight, apply a volumising mousse to your wet hair, then blow-dry it using the diffuser and scrunch it up as you dry, from roots to ends. Then, start defining your newly-acquired curls by picking up strands of hair and wrapping them around the barrel of the iron, away from the face. For a natural-looking finish, coat your hands with a little shine serum or spray and run your hands under your hair tousling the roots. Done!
