There is no doubt that, depending on one's lifestyle, there are many reasons why teeth can get stained. Usually, the main causes are drinking coffee, tea, red wine, carbonated drinks, or smoking cigarettes. There are some antibiotics, too, that may have the same effect. If you cannot afford or don't want to try the newest bleaching techniques, there  are also easier (and cheaper) methods to be used, if you're yearning for an outstanding smile.

The wonderful thing that each and every one of you has at home is the common, the beloved salt. It should certainly get the righteous respect, as it can do a great a job in cleaning up the stains on your teeth, along with spicing your favorite plate. Either if you rub it against your teeth, or if you gargle them each night with a solution of water and half of a teaspoonful of rock salt, the results are guaranteed.

Another effective daily method would be brushing the teeth with a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. The composition should have the same consistency as your regular toothpaste, and should be used for about one month. If you don't have hydrogen peroxide at home, you can still use the bicarbonate of sodium all by itself. Pour some on your toothbrush and then rub it on your teeth, a couple of minutes before doing your daily brushing.

One can also take advantage of the multiple qualities of apple cider vinegar, that works, basically, in the same way as the salt. If you're worried that your tasting sense may get altered, then try the strawberries cure. Tasty and healthy at the same time. Rub the fruit against your teeth ad the ugly stains will surely be gone.
