The latest version of Dropbox for iOS platforms now automatically uploads photos and videos using both WiFi and your cellular data plan, according to the release notes for version 1.5.

Released this week in the App Store, Dropbox 1.5 earns you up to 3 GB of extra free space for uploading photos automatically in 500 MB increments. The new feature also lets you see all the photos and videos you've uploaded in a sleek Gallery view.

Users can move and delete entire bulks of files with a single action, and they can upload files of any size, so long as their Dropbox account / plan has the storage capacity. Dropbox 1.5 is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 4.0 or later.

The Dropbox development team is aware some bugs affecting users' experience: "Sorry about that! We're working on getting this fixed ASAP," the team says.
