Sony Ericsson’s new and unreleased yet Walkman flagship, the W902, has been recently caught in live, unboxing images. While these do not (and cannot) bring anything new regarding the handset, they surely are a good preview of what users who want to buy the handset will have after this gets to be released.

Spotted over at the SE-Society forums, the new live pics with Sony Ericsson W902 show us a candybar that has quite a unique look, thanks to its asymmetrical margins.

Announced at the end of July, together with another Walkman candybar (W302) and the W595 slider, Sony Ericsson W902 offers a wide range of features.

Coming as the Walkman brother of the C902 Cyber-shot, Sony Ericsson W902 is the first from the W-series to have a camera that can rival a dedicated digital one. More exactly, the Swedish-Japanese manufacturer has packed into the W902 a 5 Megapixel camera with auto focus, image stabilizer, geotagging, flash and video recording.

Moreover, the W902 features: advanced music capabilities, Shake control, Walkman Player 3.0 with dedicated keys, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, FM radio with RDS, a 2.2 QGVA TFT display made out of mineral glass,   accelerometer, quad-band GSM connectivity, HSDPA 2100 connectivity, push email, NetFront browser, handsfree and an 8GB Memory Stick Micro card, included in the package.

The new Walkman phone weighs 100 grams, measures 110 x 49 x 11.7 millimeters and comes with a 930 mAh battery, enough to last up to 9 hours in talk-time mode or up to 380 hours in stand-by mode.

Sony Ericsson W902 should be available in the last quarter of this year (hence starting October), in three color versions: Wine Red, Volcanic Black and Earth Green. Its price has not been announced yet, but don’t expect it to be too affordable because it will not.
