As part of their commitment to environmental protection and sustainability, the Eagles decided to green up their playing agenda by harvesting green energy sources and using them to meet the electricity demands of their now famous home: the Lincoln Financial Field.

Apparently, this stadium now relies on seven wind turbines, which provide it with green-energy, and soon enough as many as 11,000 solar panels will also be installed throughout the complex.

The official website for the Philadelphia Eagles informs us that, once work on this green-oriented project is over, fourteen micro wind turbines will be observable along the stadium's north and south sides.

Should things go as planned, the combined power generating capacity of these wind turbines and solar panels will be the equivalent of six times the amounts of electricity used during all of Eagles' home games.
