Well, this will only be true if you write dates the American way, i.e. starting with the month and then adding the date

This week is Palindrome Week for everybody who writes their dates the American way, meaning that they start with the month and only then put down the day and the last two digits of the year.

And what Palindrome Week means is that, starting today and until Sunday, each and every date will read the same backwards as it does when read from the left to the right, as is customary.

No, really. For instance, today, 5/11/15, is the same backwards. The same is true about 5/12/15 and about 5/13/15 and about all the other dates of the week.

In fact, even 5/10/15 was a palindrome. The same will be true about 5/18/15 and 5/19/2015. So, basically, it's more of a Palindrome Week-and-a-Half than just a Palindrome Week.

For those of you who need bulletproof evidence before they believe anything, here are all the dates that will be the same backwards this month, just so you can check for yourselves:

        5/10/15          5/11/15          5/12/15          5/13/15          5/14/15          5/15/15          5/16/15          5/17/15          5/18/15          5/19/15

No, there is no deeper meaning attached to this time of the year. Palindrome Week is just another fun fact that, although completely useless, people still like to know about.

Before you ask, the last palindrome for people who put down dates starting with the day and only then ink in the month and the year was 21/02/2012.
