Wunderlist is the premiere app for managing and sharing To-Dos, but their design and functionality has been unchanged for almost two years. Now it's time for version 3.0 and the team has been hard at work.

Wunderlist is the first app in the App Store and the Mac App Store that got it right. Shared lists, reminders, notes and a syncing engine that just works were the ingredients for their success.

Wunderlist 2.0 for Mac was chosen "best App of 2013" in the Mac App Store. In the meantime, the Berlin-based team got larger and they have released native apps for all platforms: iPhone, iPad, Mac, Windows, Android, Kindle Fire and the Web.

At some point, their app was so used they had to fight with the "fail whale" in order to get their servers up and running. When Wunderlist Pro came out with an extra set of features for just $4.99 per month, the app grew into a full-fledged business tool.

The company behind Wunderlist has posted a video with the new interface and features. Wunderlist 3 is currently in the process of being approved by Apple.

Just by watching the below video, released by the company, you can see what's new:

First of all, a fully redesigned interface. On iPhone, Wunderlist has been taken from iOS 7 to match the iOS 8 look and feel. The "contextual menu" on the bottom of the screen has been changed to show four buttons instead of three: Share, Publish, Sort and More.

The sharing panel has been changed, as well as the way the transitions work. You also have the option to set a list to "Do not Disturb." When that happens, you are no longer notified about when your friends or co-workers add to-dos, write comments or attach files in the shared list.

When you receive a new notification, a small bell in the upper left corner moves and a notification bubble appears on it. There are also changes in regards to the syncing menu look and feel. You still have to drag down a list in order to manually sync it, but you will not be getting the iOS wheel, but a custom icon that shows when the app is synced.

You can now publish your lists to an online service. After that, you can either share the public URL or copy the link.

The Reminders menu has not been changed, but you can see dots moving when your friends type a comments to your task.

The icon is now flatter and the interface of the Mac app matches the one on the iPhone. Wunderlist 3 will be available soon for iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows, tablets, web, Kindle Fire and Chrome.
