Long-time NVIDIA partner EVGA has just introduced its latest addition to the growing line of X58-based motherboards, announcing the new X58 SLI LE, specifically designed for the enthusiast market and to provide users with support for the latest Core i7 processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX295 graphics processors. Based on an all-black PCB, the new board is set to provide overclocking and gaming enthusiasts with a high-performance platform that can enable high-end benchmark results and fast overall performance.

Boards like EVGA's latest X58 SLI LE are focused on providing a select few with support for the latest available technologies, including Intel's Nehalem architecture, NVIDIA's SLI and triple-channel DDR3 memory. Paired together, these components can reach impressive performance levels, but also require an impressive power. With technology moving towards more energy-efficient solutions and low-power computing solutions, platforms like Intel's X58 appear to address a niche market.

Nevertheless, we should take into account some of the new features that have been enabled on EVGA's latest X58 installment. Featuring the same Core i7-supporting chipset that has been featured on most of the latest Intel-based motherboards, the new X58 SLI LE has been built using only Solid State Capacitors and an elegant black PCB design. Coming to provide enthusiasts with support for overclocking practices, the new EVGA motherboard comes bundled with the company's EZ Voltage and E-LEET Tuning utility.

As you can expect from almost any X58 motherboard, the new product from EVGA will provide you with support for Core i7 processors, triple-channel-ready DDR-1600+ memory slots and four PCI-Express x16 slots with support for both CrossFireX and SLI multi-GPU setups. Additional features include six SATA 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet and a 7.1 channel audio support.

Price-wise, you are looking at a board that will leave you without $239.99, if you decide to switch to Intel's latest high-end platform.
