No longer shall it be possible to tune the voltages of the adapter

For some reason or other NVIDIA does not want customers to be able to modify the voltage that its GeForce GTX products work at, and EVGA customers are learning this the hard way.

The company allows for software-based overclocking solutions to be used, but fine-tuning voltages, like the EVGA EVBot header that EVGA built into the PCB of its GeForce GTX 680 Classified, is a no-go apparently.

The design change was discovered by a buyer who took to the EVGA forums to ask why their new card lacked said header.

"Unfortunately newer 680 Classified cards will not come with the EVBot feature. If any questions or concerns please contact us directly so we can offer a solution," answered EVGA's Jacob Freeman.

"It was removed in order to 100% comply with NVIDIA guidelines for selling GeForce GTX products, no voltage control is allowed, even via external device."

Before anyone asks, no, the Classified won't be getting any cheaper after this.
